Why is the American "sweepstakes" a "PROMOTION" and the European a "CONTEST"??

What is the total number of experience points gained by all European Guild Wars players from April 1st 2008 to this year’s anniversary (April 28th)?

Uh.. yeah.. nice guessing there..
I just put in "Over nine thousand!" None of the rewards interest me, so may as well interest myself.

Europe: Guess an answer! Possibility to loose because of misreading or distraction.
America: Randomly click around and still get a chance to win!

Too bad it won't let me send the thing....I mean it says I have to complete all things marked with a *....the problem is that it marks things I answered to, and if I answer again and press the "send" button, it will clear the thing that I just answered to and ask me to answer again.

Anet, you are too good at making bugs.

Some nice prizes for a market-research type survey. I'm sure some of this feedback will be useful for GW2.

lol @ "I like to grief other players" choice for your GW Playstyle.

Thanks for pointing that out to those of us too lazy to look for it ourselves.

That's because us American's deserve some easy to get things for the people we've got to put up with daily! The average intelligence level is higher in Europe apparently so they make you think! With your brain!

Or they just don't like you guys hahaha.

Uh no.

If you read the rules, you'll notice that the approx retail value is $1,799.00 and typically has to include shipping and taxes, which is most of the basic options, and is comparable to the LG specs.

The dream computer you've built is worth over $4,599.00

since they are multiguilds in one ally with similar name and same tag, like [KISS] or [DVDF]

Hopefully the final time this is quoted

Maybe because gambling is illegal in several states, so it has to be advertised as a fun thing, rather than a profit thing?

Us Europeans happily use our grandmas as collateral in poker games, so we don't care.

Yeah no doubt! I saw that the Europe one was out, but I fall into the "rest of the world" category. I would mostly enjoy participating in the survey, but have no illusions of actually winning anything.

Sorry for the OT, but I think that at a certain point you could by some kind of guild extentions, for a max of 200 people. Not sure about it though.
